Comfortable shopping – that’s what everyone wants, so it really is a sure-fire success. However, in Germany customers tend to associate this with more space and short distances than contactless payment systems and self-checkout cash registers, Click & Collect. Germany is one of the few countries that handles the technology hits with caution – in other industrialized countries they have long since arrived. At the trade fair EuroCIS we tried to find out why this is the case.
