The POPAI Award finalists 2019 in our photo gallery

This year’s participants impress with their attentive designs, functionality and practical handling. The contestants demonstrate the wide-ranging possibilities a display offers for presenting products and attracting attention at the point of sale.

On May 8th, the POPAI Awards were presented in Frankfurt during a festive gala. The jury will then have selected the best advertising displays for the POS from 64 participants.

At the POPAI exhibition at EuroCIS 2019, we gained a first impression and introduce you to some of the competing displays:

Redbull Display

Red Bull Event Car

The Red Bull Event Car is not only an enormously large display, but also a very practical one. It folds flat and is therefore easy to transport. Plus, no customer will be able to miss this display!

OralB Giant Brush Display

Designer: Wolfgang Ebert

This display definitely attracts attention: a toothbrush 2.7 metres high! But that’s not all. According to the manufacturer, it provides about a 20 percent increase in sold refills. These are located conveniently at the height of the toothbrush’s belly for easy access.

Although the festival cooler is not a typical display, it can also be used for advertising purposes. It not only presents the goods but cools them as well. It is made of 100 percent cardboard and is therefore environmentally friendly and perfectly suited for advertising campaigns on any festival site.

The change from acrylic to cardboard seems to have been successful in this case. The choice of this material was made for economic and environmental reasons. The authentic form of this display gives away the product at first glance: even from a distance the customer can see what to expect.

This collapsible display has been designed primarily for transport in cars and is therefore ideal for sales staff and business trips. Space-saving yet attractive, it presents its up to 20 products and, according to the manufacturer, is also particularly convincing in sales talks.

Oral B counter display for toothbrushes

In this display, toothbrushes can be observed closely and picked up, an experience for almost all senses. The product is illustrated in more detail by an image film running in the background on an integrated screen. This display is particularly useful for brand new products that are still unknown to customers.

The Tuk-Tuk is a real eye-catcher in every shop and invites you to reach in. The colourful design and the unusual format reinforce this effect. It can be assembled quickly, as the punched-out front part can simply be hooked into the pallet casing.
