Another stop on the EuroShop Roadshow with some exciting guests

Exhibitors and visitors from around the world flock to the EuroShop trade fair. Meanwhile, EuroShop itself also goes on tour: EuroShop ambassadors Elke Moebius, Global Head of Retail & Retail Technology, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, and Ulrich Spaan, Executive Board Member, EHI Retail Institute, visited South Africa.

At the EuroShop Roadshow stop in the new Mercedes-Benz showroom in Johannesburg, many interested attendees learned from Ms. Moebius what to expect from EuroShop’s Eight Dimensions in 2020. The visitor list included industry experts, retailers, industry representatives and journalists, covering a broad range of specialty areas – as multifaceted as the EuroShop trade fair itself.

After an initial overview of the event, Ulrich Spaan delivered concise, exciting insights into exceptional, award-winning store concepts. After all, a retailer’s largest product is the store, according to Angela Ahrendts. The former Vice President of Apple once said, “I think [the store] has to serve a bigger purpose than just selling, because anybody can do that faster, cheaper.”

Justin Hawes of Scan Display Solutions was the guest speaker for the event in Johannesburg. His company has been a EuroShop exhibitor since 2017.
