What makes the planning of trade show logistics a masterpiece

K in Düsseldorf is the world’s most important meeting place for the plastics and rubber industry, bringing together exhibitors and visitors from all over the world for eight days. It all kicks off on October 19, but before that there’s quite a bit of set-up work to be done.

Werner Arnold, Team Manager Logistics at Messe Düsseldorf, coordinated the setup of some 4,000 40-ton trucks for K 2022 in the days leading up to the start of the trade show – and that’s just the largest vehicle class, plus plenty of smaller vehicles. Arnold told us everything that has to be taken into account to ensure that the logistics flow never gets bogged down and that the trade show is a complete success for everyone.
