KitchenAid brand opened pop-up culinary playground

KitchenAid invited the public to its 100 year celebration at a fully immersive experience in New York City on July 19 and July 20. Visitors could discover a world of joy, creativity and possibility at the KitchenAid Culinary Playground, featuring hands-on experiences including fresh ingredient takeaways, live demonstrations and photo-worthy installations. Lucky guests could go home with free KitchenAid® product giveaways.

Broadway, television and movie star Neil Patrick Harris and his husband and professional chef David Burtka attended the KitchenAid Culinary Playground opening night on Thursday, July 18.

One hundred years ago, the laborious process of kneading dough inspired the invention of the now iconic Stand Mixer. The KitchenAid brand was born. With the KitchenAid Culinary Playground, the brand continues its yearlong centennial celebration. Activities began last fall with a 100 Year Limited Edition Collection in Misty Blue, reminiscent of one of the first KitchenAid Stand Mixer colors ever introduced and an ode to the brand’s heritage.
